About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles and have experience in preparing estimates, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), and Measurement Books (MB Books). This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with authorities and stakeholders, and fluency in the local language is essential. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects in your assigned location.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Assist in the planning and execution of civil engineering projects.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Estimation and Costing:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project costs and identify potential cost-saving measures.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and Measurement Books (MB Books).
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Generate regular progress reports for project managers and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports to submit to local authorities.
- Liaison and Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Address and resolve technical issues and queries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Site Supervision:
- Supervise construction activities and ensure quality control.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Language Proficiency:
- Udhampur, Uttarakhand: Fluency in Hindi is mandatory.
- Zaheerabad, Telangana: Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
- Kakatpur, Puri District, Orissa: Fluency in Odia is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in preparing estimates, DPRs, and MB Books.
- Strong understanding of construction materials and methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
