On 18th February 2025, the CYDA hosted a transformative educational session that opened doors to the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for 52 eager students. Titled AI & ChatGPT: Empowering Students for the Future, the event aimed to equip young learners with practical knowledge of AI tools, particularly ChatGPT, and how these technologies can enhance their academic journey. Led by 6 dedicated volunteers from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, the session was both informative and hands-on, igniting a spark of curiosity and excitement among the participants.
The session provided an overview of the pivotal role AI is playing in shaping the future of education. With a focus on ChatGPT, students learned how this cutting-edge AI tool can serve as an invaluable educational assistant. From enhancing productivity to supporting academic growth, students discovered how AI can improve their study habits, problem-solving skills, and understanding of complex subjects. The session revealed the potential for AI to be a study companion that works 24/7, answering questions, offering explanations, and suggesting new ideas.
Throughout the workshop, students participated in interactive demonstrations where they saw firsthand how ChatGPT could help with a variety of tasks.
