About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Program Manager to lead and oversee our skilling programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale skilling initiatives across multiple locations. You will be responsible for strategic planning, program implementation, stakeholder management, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality training and placement outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Program Development:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for skilling programs, aligning with organizational goals and donor requirements.
- Design and develop innovative skilling programs that meet the needs of target beneficiaries and industry demands.
- Conduct market research and needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities.
- Develop curriculum and training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Program Implementation and Management:
- Oversee the implementation of skilling programs across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Manage program staff, trainers, and partner organizations.
- Monitor program progress and identify potential challenges, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with program standards.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, industry partners, training providers, and community stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at relevant meetings and events.
- Facilitate collaboration and coordination among different stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with donors and ensure timely reporting.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program progress and impact.
- Collect and analyze data to assess program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular progress reports and evaluation reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Placement and Livelihood Support:
- Develop and implement strategies for job placement and livelihood support for program beneficiaries.
- Build relationships with employers and facilitate job placements.
- Provide career counseling and guidance to trainees.
- Track placement outcomes and measure program impact.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Monitor program expenditures and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing skilling programs.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale skilling programs across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of the skilling ecosystem and industry demands.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, implementation, and monitoring.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Experience in managing donor-funded projects.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
- Fluent in Marathi (spoken).
