About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Program Manager to lead our unrestricted fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in unrestricted fundraising. You will be responsible for achieving an annual fundraising target of 1-2 crore, building and maintaining donor relationships and ensuring the sustainability of our programs.
Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve annual unrestricted fundraising targets (1-2 crore).
- Identify and cultivate new funding sources, including individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations.
- Develop and manage fundraising campaigns, including online and offline initiatives.
- Create and implement donor acquisition and retention strategies.
- Donor Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors.
- Develop and implement donor communication and engagement plans.
- Organize and manage donor events and stewardship activities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to donors on program impact.
- Fundraising Operations and Administration:
- Manage fundraising databases and donor records.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of donations.
- Develop and manage fundraising budgets.
- Prepare and submit fundraising reports and proposals.
- Marketing and Communications:
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop compelling fundraising materials.
- Utilize digital marketing and social media to promote fundraising campaigns.
- Develop and maintain the organization’s fundraising website and online donation platform.
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on fundraising trends and best practices.
- Analyze fundraising data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies and donors.
- Team Management:
- Manage and mentor fundraising team members.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in unrestricted fundraising.
- Proven track record of achieving fundraising targets.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and fundraising CRM software.
- Experience in digital marketing and social media for fundraising.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
- Fluent in Marathi (spoken).
